Prisoners escape, Numinbah Correctional Centre

Police and Corrective Service Officers are continuing to look for a female prisoner who  escaped from Numinbah Correctional Centre on Sunday, 10 September 2017.

Tegan SIMPSON, 24, and another female prisoner, 21, were found to be missing when a head count was conducted about 11pm. The 21-year-old prisoner was recaptured on Monday 18 September and charged with multiple offences. SIMPSON has not yet been located.

SIMPSON is on remand for receiving stolen goods, drug offences and motor vehicle offences.

SIMPSON is described as:

Height 163 cm

Weight 48 kg

Complexion Light

Eyes Green

Hair Dark Brown

Tattoos Left eyebrow – Strength, behind left ear – rose, left arm – full sleeve, right inner wrist – angel wings, right hand – bow, left lower leg – phoenix bird, right leg – skull, rose, lantern, eye, ladies face, skull, right foot – crown.
